The best mother-in-law in the world gave me this sewing machine for last christmas!. Since then i've created pillows for our living room, made this little giraffe stuffed animal for a friend's baby shower, failed in an attempt at making a dress the night before a wedding (i guess you really do need a mannequin for that after all), sewed together some candy corn garland for our fall decor, and i have PLENTY of ideas for more projects. (I can't wait to make some stuffed animals for Emily )
Just got back from painting this mural for a good friend's baby room. It was a lot of fun and i was treated to the best homemade soup while i worked :) I think in the end i treated the paint more like oils than water colors... oops
finally turned our decent sized closet into a work space :)
Just finished my first "commissioned" drawing since graduating. They provided the picture- i provided ... well just the drawing
Here is a logo/monogram design I did for my friend Rhonda. She is marrying Randy and their last name begins with K- put it all together and what do you get?.... Well, eventually with plenty of feedback from my "client" you get the design all the way to the right. (Originally they were thinking about a crown since the last name is King but they wanted something less regal but still wedding worthy)
I've been slowly unpacking some pottery and found the perfect place for my senior show to hang out. I thought these guys would have to be packed away or sold to pieces but i think this is just right for now :) I took these pictures and stitched them together in photoshop ... can't decide which one i like better
Just had a lot of fun painting a mural for my sister's baby room! The mural was based on the bedroom set they chose from Skip Hop - Its their tree top friends collection. Super cute! Here are some of the images from the room. I love doing work like this!
